The Bednarowski Trust, University of Aberdeen, Scotland and the Institute of Philosophy, University of Warsaw, Poland are announcing the Polish-Scottish Philosophy Conference 2013, which will be preceded by a two-day workshop for PhD students. The leading, but not exclusive, themes of the conference are Epistemology and Political Philosophy.

The organisers invite Polish academics to participate in the conference with a paper presentation. The presentation should not exceed 30 minutes and will be followed by a 15-minute discussion. If you intend to give a paper at the conference, please submit its abstract (up to 300 words) to conferenceUW2013@gmail.com by 31 May 2013. Please note that you should only apply if you can attend the event in its entirety. The language of the conference is English. Notification of acceptance will be sent by 15 June 2013.

The conference will take place in Pałac Kazimierzowski located on the University of Warsaw central campus (Krakowskie Przedmieście 26/28). No registration fee will be charged. If no alternative university funding can be obtained, The Bednarowski Trust will finance meals and reimburse travel expenses. However, the organisers are unable to cover the cost of accommodation at this stage.
